The Maduro Secretos, the smallest in the Maduro range at 100 mm with a 40 ring gauge, still delivers a bold, full-bodied experience. It opens with aromas of cedar and coffee bean, followed by intense flavors of creamy chocolate and dark red fruits like cherry and plum. These rich tastes are complemented by notes of coffee, almond, and a touch of spice, grounding the complex profile. Introduced in 2007, the Linea Maduro 5 range is distinguished by its use of the Dark Maduro wrapper, which is unique to all three cigars in the collection. This wrapper comes from leaves grown at the very top of shade-grown plants. To achieve the deep, dark color required for maduro classification, these leaves undergo an extended aging and fermentation process of five years. The result is a sweeter, not stronger, flavor that inspired the name of this exceptional collection.
